After proving the model in Queenstown and Wānaka, we're bringing New Zealand's coaching marketplace to Ōtautahi - and whether you're looking for a coach or you are one, getting in early comes with real perks. Here's the full story.

First - what's Scouty?

Scouty is a marketplace that connects people with fitness, health and wellness coaches. Personal trainers, strength coaches, running coaches, nutrition support - all in one place, with real profiles, real specialties, and real humans behind them.

The idea is simple: not every coach is for you. But your ideal coach is out there. Scouty helps you find them without trawling Instagram, cold-messaging strangers, or committing to the first PT whose gym happens to be nearby.

No sign-up fees for clients. No awkward sales pitch. Just a smarter way to find someone who gets what you're trying to do.

Why Christchurch?
Honestly? It was the obvious next step.

Christchurch is the South Island's biggest city, with one of the most active populations in the country. There's a deep bench of talented coaches, a thriving gym and studio scene, and a whole lot of people trying to figure out who to trust with their goals.

But here's the thing we kept hearing: finding the right coach in Christchurch is still a game of match roulette. You ask a mate, you try a class, you choose someone based on Instagram followers over results, you hope for the best. A great coach for someone else, might not be the best coach for you and great coaches can stay hidden behind quiet Instagram accounts where people who'd genuinely benefit from their coaching never find their match.

We built Scouty in Queenstown to fix exactly that problem. Now we're bringing it to Christchurch.
